USA Today, appx. 527 wordsWhole Foods will become tha only Fortune 500 company to purchase renewable energy credits to offset 100% of its electricity use, says the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Kurt Johnson, head of the EPA's Green Power Partnership, was quoted saying When a market leader does something like this, others will emulate.

Austrian Minister for Agriculture and the Environment, Josef Pröll, would like to put the Biomass Action Plan on the agenda of the Agriculture Council of 23-24 January 2006, and feels that
new nuclear power stations are not an alternative, stating We should opt for an intelligent, balanced energy mix in Europe rather than investing in mega power stations.
