Ethanol production shifting into overdrive

The VeraSun Energy Corp. plant in Aurora, South Dakota is one of the largest ethanol producers in the United States (120 million gallons a year). Yet it cannot keep up with increasing demand from oil companies for ethanol, even running 24 hours shifts.

The article goes on to discuss E85 and flex-fuel cars as well as some of the controversy around ethanol production and use.
